BOAT SCHEDULE
GREEN SEASON
(Boat schedule is available from 1st May until 31st October )
The Royal Sands Koh Rong is located on the island of Koh Rong in the Gulf of Thailand, 25 kilometres (approximately 60 minutes by boat) off the coast of Sihanoukville in southern Cambodia. It is the country’s second largest island. Due to the monsoon period (May-October) has strong wind from the West of Koh Rong, Gulf of Thailand, sea can be fairly rough, we can’t barely dock our boat at our main Jetty in front of our resort. Therefore, the option to embark and disembark safety our Royal Sands boat will go to East of Koh Rong which is protected from monsoon winds (by mountain of Rong) and convenience for guests on boat. From the new point, East side, or locally called Military Port, we will arrange the short transfer by car or truck from there to The Resort which will take about 15 minutes by concrete road (along the Rong mountain).

- Schedule Validity: May 1st to October 31st (green season).
- Departure: Boat departs from Sihanoukville Port to the resort’s jetty on the west side.
- Arrival: Passengers greeted by staff at The Royal Sands Koh Rong lounge (Sihanoukville Port Gate #1).
- Amenities: Complimentary café, cookies, internet access, and cold water available while waiting.
- Schedule Changes: Boat schedule may change without notice due to weather conditions and flight schedules at Sihanoukville Airport.
- Fees: Refer to contract rates for “Boat transfer fees.”
- Additional Charges: Transfers outside of the schedule may incur fees per “Private Basic” rate.
