BOAT SCHEDULE
GREEN SEASON
(Boat schedule is available from 1st May until 31st October )
Sands Koh Rong is located on the island of Koh Rong, 25 kilometres (approximately 60 minutes by boat) off the coast of Sihanoukville in southern Cambodia. It is the country’s second largest island. Due to the monsoon period (May–October) with strong winds from the west of Koh Rong, the sea can be fairly rough, and docking our boat at our main jetty in front of the resort may be difficult. Therefore, for safe embarkation and disembarkation, our Royal Sands boat will operate from the east side of Koh Rong, which is protected from monsoon winds (by the Rong mountain). From the new departure point on the east side (locally called the Military Port), we will arrange a short transfer by car or truck to the resort, which takes about 15 minutes by concrete road (along the Rong mountain).

- All passengers will be welcomed & greeted by our staff at The Royal Sands Koh Rong’s lounge, located inside Sihanoukville Port Gate #1. While awaiting departure by boat or road to other destinations, café, cookie, internet and cold water will be provided.
- Boat schedule subject to change without prior notice, depending on weather conditions and incoming flight schedules to Sihanoukville airport.
